1. Do I need experience?
You do not need experience for half day tours or full day tours as training is provided at the beginning of every tour.
2. How many guides will be on a tour and what are their qualifications?
All guides are very experienced snowmobilers who know the terrain very well. Most of the time, depending on the group size, there is one guide in the front and one tail guide, who communicate via radio. All guides are fully qualified in first aid and avalanche training.
Our guides speak English, French, Italian and German.

6. What weather conditions will lead to trip cancellation?
In the rare event of no snow on the ground or snow storms or rainstorms, we reschedule morning tours to afternoon tours. On those few days in the season where it is extremely cold, we may cancel or include a few more stops to warm up.
Check here for the Fernie, BC weather forecast.
7. How do I get to prestige tours?
You can either meet us at our shop on Anderson Rd or arrange a complimentary pick-up with us.
8. is there a minimum age?
There is no minimum age as long as the children love the outdoors and the snow. Kids under 12 years ride for free and sit behind a parent on a 2-person snowmobile. Regarding smaller children, we seat them in front of a parent or guide.

Hot chocolate and hot dogs are provided on half day tours. A full lunch, snacks and beverages are provided for full day tours. Please let us know before hand if there are any special dietary needs (vegetarian, allergies etc.)
10. Are snowmobile suits available?
Yes, we do have suits, free of charge, but wearing your ski/snowboard outfit will be just fine. Here is a list of available equipment.

11. What's the min/max number of clients you can take out on a tour?
To run a tour, we need a minimum of 2 snowmobiles. On full day tours we try not to exceed 6 snowmobiles (unless it is a single group of people.) On half day tours, the maximum number is around 10 to 12 sleds but our average tour is about 6-8 sleds.
12. Are there any discounts?
We do offer discounts for returning guests and for groups of more than 6 clients (if renting 6 machines). Please call for more information.
